At bareMinerals, I led the implementation of the Foundation ShadeFinder Quiz, an interactive tool designed to improve the customer experience by personalizing product recommendations. Additionally, I managed the deployment of LiveChat, enhancing real-time customer support and increasing engagement across the site.
Objective
bareMinerals aimed to improve its customer engagement and increase conversions by offering personalized shopping experiences. The Foundation ShadeFinder Quiz addressed the challenge of helping customers find the right foundation shade online, while the LiveChat tool was implemented to reduce friction in customer service and provide instant support.
My Role
As the Project Manager, I oversaw the design and deployment of the Foundation ShadeFinder Quiz, collaborating with UX/UI, engineering, and marketing teams to create an intuitive, user-friendly tool. I also led the integration of LiveChat, coordinating with third-party vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth implementation, resulting in improved real-time customer service and engagement.
Process and Solution
For the Foundation ShadeFinder Quiz, I worked closely with the UX/UI team to design a seamless flow that guided users through skin tone selection and personalized product recommendations. This required collaboration with the engineering team to ensure the quiz was responsive and scalable across devices, as well as integration with the existing eCommerce platform to connect users with the correct product options.
The LiveChat implementation involved selecting a third-party vendor and integrating the tool into the bareMinerals website to provide instant support for customer queries. I managed the end-to-end process, from vendor negotiations to coordinating with the customer support team to ensure successful adoption of the new tool. The result was a more dynamic and responsive customer service experience.
